Spaceship studying
I find it hilarious that my mom framed this and has it on the wall. Cant blame her though it is the best poster OF ALL TIME. (Taken with instagram)
when people stop into the lounge on the way to their morning crew practice and you’re still in there from the night before.
It’s good and stuff. Keeps me busy but I’m learning a lot of things. Chicago’s awesome too.
Lol if you passed by the big orange and yellow and purple building, literally my house. How long are you in chi town for?Not much, you?Its 11:30… Gotta love early travel plans!
Also, what’s up Chicago?
I’m staying at my sister’s in Hyde Park and we walked around campus today and I was all “Hunter is probably around here somewhere…” lol cool story, right?

Absolutely. It’s a great city to explore and really easy to get around. It’s also much, much larger than Boston and has a larger number and greater diversity of neighborhoods. I live in Hyde Park, which is a South Side neighborhood, and not quite as urban as the Loop/Grant Park area, which is where Columbia College is located. There’s a whole lot more to the city than downtown, so if you come here I encourage you to check out places like Pilsen, Andersonville, Chinatown, and Wicker Park. As far as negatives concerning living here go, there are times where I miss having large wildlife areas and hills nearby, but there are definitely places in the city which are at least relatively peaceful. It’s also difficult sometimes being so far away from home, but as I’m here longer it feels more and more like this is home now. In sum, I love living in Chicago and think it is a great place to go to school for many people, but there are certainly some factors involved with going to school here that aren’t for everyone. If you have any more questions or concerns about the city I’ll do my best to answer.
